Meet Karen Abramson
With over 17 years of extensive experience in the real estate industry and a track record of successfully completing numerous transactions, Karen is widely recognized and highly regarded as a consummate professional within both her peer group and the local community.
Karen's fundamental philosophy centers around earning success and trust by consistently surpassing her clients' expectations and advocating for their best interests. Leveraging her honed negotiation skills acquired during her legal career, coupled with her comprehensive understanding of the local markets, Karen has fostered enduring relationships with her clientele.
Known for her hands-on approach, she takes personal responsibility for overseeing and guiding her clients throughout the entire process, endeavoring to make it as stress-free as possible. Her commitment to honesty, integrity, and providing white glove service has been instrumental in the substantial volume of referrals she receives from satisfied past clients. As Karen herself aptly states, "My greatest compliment is your referral."
Beyond her knowledge of the entire buying and selling process, Karen has a personal and deep understanding of the home renovation & construction process and all that it entails, perfectly suited to assisting investors and end-users alike in evaluating After Value Renovations. She has a portfolio of investors and builders that rely on her for market guidance.
On a personal note, Karen's upbringing in Israel and her service as an officer in the Israeli Defense Force (IDF), culminating in the rank of Second Lieutenant, have instilled in her a strong sense of discipline and dedication. Following the completion of her law degree (LLB) in Israel, Karen joined her family in the United States in 1997. She further pursued her academic pursuits at the highly regarded Cardozo School of Law in New York City, becoming one of the inaugural participants in their esteemed LLM program.
In 2001, Karen achieved the title of Esquire after successfully passing the NYS bar exam. Relocating from Brooklyn to North Caldwell New Jersey in 2004, Karen made a conscious decision to embark on a career in real estate, recognizing that it not only afforded her a better work-life balance as she nurtured her two beautiful children, but also ignited her passion for assisting others in their most significant life investment.
As her children have grown to become adults, she understands first-hand the considerations involved in strategizing a down-sizing move, while not compromising on lifestyle.
Karen is an avid cook, and since living a vegan lifestyle specializes in converting her favorite recipes for everyone to enjoy. She is passionate about living a clean and healthy lifestyle. She has a love for life; enjoys ballet and opera, dancing and the outdoors, particularly where there is sun and ocean. And when she has free time, she particularly enjoys traveling to new destinations where she can scuba dive with her children or significant other.
Karen serves Livingston, West Orange, South Orange/Maplewood, Essex Fells, Roseland, North Caldwell, Short Hills, Millburn and surrounding NJ towns.
Karen also holds a real estate license in Georgia where she spends part of her time and can assist anyone with plans to buy or sell in the Atlanta area.
